I'm Nathan Miller, aka Nathan Invincible, and I suspend a camera under a kite using an automated rig that takes photos from tens to hundreds of feet in the air and at angles unreachable by planes or other devices. My kite quiver includes a 9ft Delta, 6.5' Rokakku, and a 7.5' Rokkaku. Kite Aerial Photography, or KAP for short, has a small but dedicated community found around the world. For me, this hobby evolved out of throwing my camera into the air on a timer. I didn't get nearly as many cool shots, and in most cases they were too blurry to be proud of.
