Jess + Taylor’s intimate elopement at Spence Cabin in the Smoky Mountains was so incredibly special that I found myself waiting for the perfect moment to share it. 🤍

They love to joke that they did things a little “backwards” — building a life together, sharing years of memories, and raising three beautiful children before finally making it official. But standing there and watching their loved ones travel from all over to celebrate them, it felt anything but backwards. It felt like everything happened exactly when it was meant to.

Family is at the center of who Jess + Taylor are, and I truly cannot imagine a more perfect wedding day for them without their babies there to witness it. Their children were such an important part of their story and their day, and while I’m keeping much of that private out of respect for them, the little pieces I will share still tell such a beautiful story.

Every detail was thoughtfully chosen. Every moment was filled with love. And every image captures the admiration, friendship, and deep connection between two people who have already built so much together — and now get to continue this incredible journey as husband and wife.

Jess + Taylor, thank you for allowing me to preserve such a meaningful chapter of your story. Your day was a reminder that there is no “right” timeline for love — only the one that belongs to you. 🤍

Some couples make you fall in love with your job all over again.

Last week, I had the honor of standing alongside these two as they promised forever in Glacier National Park. Through mountain air, wildflowers, quiet moments, and the kind of love that speaks without words, I simply got to witness it all.

These are only the previews… and somehow I still couldn’t fit everything into just 20 slides. There was too much beauty, too much joy, and too many moments that deserved to be remembered.

I’ll never get used to the fact that this is what I get to call work. That people trust me with one of the most important days of their lives and invite me into places that leave me completely speechless.

I traveled all the way to Ohio for these two, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect evening. The city was overflowing with lush greenery, timeless historic mansions, and the kind of charm that makes you want to slow down and soak it all in.

But as beautiful as the scenery was, these two somehow outshined every bit of it.

Anna + Reed are truly lightning in a bottle. The way they laugh together, the way they look at each other, the way they simply exist side by side—it all feels effortless. Some couples just have that kind of magic, and getting to document it is the best part of what I do. 🥹🤍

If their engagement session is any indication of what’s ahead, their wedding day is going to be unforgettable—and I already know I won’t be ready for it. ✨

I had the honor of planning it all, designing the florals, and capturing every moment—and seeing it all come together in the most beautiful, old-money elegant setting felt unreal. Every detail, every corner, every quiet in-between moment was just them: classic, effortless, and so full of love.

I truly can’t think of two people who fit together more perfectly than these two. Their story started in the sweetest way — living just down the hall from one another, secretly crushing from afar, until one day they finally crossed paths, struck up a conversation, and have been inseparable ever since.

Getting to capture their engagement photos in the very historic Nashville neighborhood where their apartment is, and where their entire love story has unfolded, made this session feel that much more special. Every corner held a little piece of their story, and it was the sweetest thing getting to document this season for such a beautiful couple.

It is officially wedding week for my baby brother + soon to be sister-in-law, Mason + Paige 🥹🤍

This week looks a little different around here because I’m not only their photographer, but also their wedding planner and a bridesmaid 😂 so to say I have a lot on my plate this week would be an understatement. I’ll still be answering messages + emails as I can, but I will be officially out of office when it comes to editing and delivering galleries this week. Everything will be caught back up the following week — thank y’all so much for your patience while we soak in such a special week for our family 🫶🏼

And these engagement photos feel even sweeter now. We took them dressed up at the old church just down the road from our houses — the same church whose bells we hear chime every single day at noon.

Now every time those bells ring, they’ll be a little reminder of this season, this love, and the beginning of their forever. I seriously cannot wait to watch these two become husband and wife this weekend 🤍

Some wedding days feel like they belong in a movie, and Shelby + Alex’s day was one of them.

The skies were moody, the wind never stopped blowing, and somehow every bit of it made the day feel even more magical. There was a softness and energy to their celebration that can’t really be planned—it just happens when two people are deeply loved and completely in love with each other.

What I love most about this collection is how many different perspectives and mediums came together to tell their story. Digital images for the timeless moments, film for the nostalgia, flash for the fun, double exposures for the artistry, and a second photographer capturing all the moments happening simultaneously throughout the day. The quiet glances, the in-between laughter, the reactions across the room, the moments you never even realize are unfolding while you’re living them.

A wedding day happens once, and it moves fast. Having multiple ways to document it allows the story to be told more fully—capturing not only what the day looked like, but what it felt like.

Shelby + Alex, thank you for trusting us with such an important chapter of your love story. It was an absolute honor to preserve these memories for you, and I feel so grateful to have witnessed such a beautiful beginning to your forever. 🤍

A rainy day, a greenhouse full of greenery, hidden friends waiting to celebrate, and the sweetest “yes.” 🤍

Danny + Rain’s proposal felt straight out of a movie—romantic, intimate, and overflowing with joy. Watching these two step into their next chapter together was such an honor, and I already can’t wait for their wedding day.
