Julie Holder Photography

Julie Holder Photography Julie Holder is a photographer, mother to Goldie, wife to Bo, wanderluster and chaser of light. She?

She’s a NY-transplant, living in Austin, TX who travels wherever her camera lens takes her. Her ability to capture both story and meaning in each frame has made her an accomplished travel, interiors and lifestyle photographer, while her voice and expertise has given her a platform to help people capture their own lives. With a bohemian spirit and wanderer’s soul, Julie approaches every campaign as

a storyteller. "For me, photography is what you feel, not just what you see. That’s what makes it so powerful, that a story can unfold in one frame.” She’s worked editorially for top magazines like Rolling Stone and Arch Digest as well as for personalities and brands, alike. "It’s easy to think photographers capture moments, but for me it’s meaning, that’s what I want to see through the lens and that’s the goal for every click of the shutter.” To learn more about Julie, follow her on Instagram at .

Miss Marigold turned 8!! ☀️ On the last week of Summer, and just in time for the same Harvest moon we had on the night you were born.

8 is a kid, a full on kid, and my heart might burst from all the love you fill it with daily. When we chose your name, we could have never known how perfect it would be for you. Pure gold in every way. Silly, sweet, creative, brave, so incredibly smart, kind and hilarious. You know every bug, love every animal and you’re a natural artist. Creativity comes to you with ease and you see the world with humor and gentleness. What a gift, watching you with your precious friends and seeing you grow and thrive and become you. And now I’m crying again. My baby Goldie is 8! ❤️❤️❤️

These tulips were leftovers from an arrangement I made a week ago. Their stems all went crazy and they sort of made a sculpture. I really think a lot of flowers are at their prettiest a lil broken in. 🤌🏽

✨Celebration of Life✨
The world lost a one in a billion light beam when Nicole left it. She was an epic friend, Mother, Artist and she inspired me every time I saw her. We were in Greece when we got the news. I went to the water and just looked at it for a while, and when I could finally collect a thought, it was, I wonder what she’s doing right now? Because if there is anyone who could make Heaven and afterlife even more far out, it would be Nicole Song. She led us to a Greek church that was 100s of years old that night. We found it right at sunset. I just know it was her, finally able to tap into that magic that she no doubt can fully harness now.

She was a rainbow of a human.

We promised to hold a celebration of life that aimed to be as raucous and wild and full of love and joy as she was (stiff competition).

Join us Sunday at 6pm as we celebrate this amazing soul and her beautiful life with her family and friends.

has generously offered to be open for us. Their full bar menu will be open for purchase as we gather, and yummy bites with food trucks outside. We will have some of Nicole’s artwork on display and ways to help support the Song family. Children are welcome. The Song girls will be there early.

Open to any and all Nicole touched, which I’m learning is greater than we could have ever known. ❤️
