The LightBox ~ Photography by Marsha Smith I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made...Psalm 139:14 I believe we are all lovingly created by a wonderful God.

We may not all have what the world calls "beauty" but we are all beautiful because we are made in His image! My hope for my photography is to help you see the beauty in yourself, your family, and your friends. I count it a privilege to be invited into the special moments of your lives. I will do this as long as He allows and will be thankful for every minute!

After much thought and prayer. I’ve come to the place where I’m officially retiring from photography. I love photography. I have loved being included in your special moments. I’ll still do photography for pure enjoyment. It was a beautiful season for me and I am grateful for all of the love and support through the years.

Wish me well in my future as I pursue a new path in nursing. I’m actually excited to go back to school even though I know it will be hard at my age but challenge accepted!

2022 will be the year I photograph more of what I love. 2022 is the year I build my small business up a little stronger with all of you and hopefully some new friends and clients.

It's no secret 2021 was a difficult year for me and my family. I owe you all many thanks for sharing your special moments with me. Your joys brought me joy when I was struggling to find my own. I dont take these opportunities that have been given to me for granted. I truly appreciate everyone that invested in me, my family and my business these past years.

Hi! I’ve had some ask so I’ll clarify, I’m still doing photography. I’ve been scheduling mostly on weekends now. I’ve really fallen out of love with the way Facebook filters my posts so I have neglected the page. To see my more recent work go over to my website.
