Wild Stillness Photography

Wild Stillness Photography "Wild Stillness" the act of bringing stillness to the soul without taking the wild from the heart.

I am a wildlife and nature photographer that seeks communion and connection with the Creator in the wild and then share it with my viewers.

"The Cove"
This place holds so many happy memories for me.... maybe thats why I keep coming back 🧡
Visiting when I was a little girl in the back of my grandparents truck camper, cycling the loop with my older kids when I pregnant with my youngest, camping with Joel and Little Bit, or chasing wildlife with my camera (no I don't actually chase them)....
Its a beautiful place 🧡

"All Creation Seeks Him"
I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

They come in all sizes!
GSMNP has the highest density of black bears in the United States. Park officials estimate there are 1,500 to 1,900 bears in the park (2 per square mile). 85% of their diet is vegetation, berries, nuts, insects. They have very individual personalities just like people or dogs do. Their greatest harm are humans that feed them people food. A fed bear is a dead bear. Once they connect humans with people food that is often when they become aggressive towards humans looking for food and then they have to be put down. The park rule is that you stay 150 feet from a bear. (These were all photographed with a 600mm lens and then cropped.) I love these bears 🖤
