Everything about this crew exudes fun. Family shoots are fun, of course we need the standard posed shots, but there's something really special about capturing the moments children actually experience joy. I'd much rather capture the moments in-between the poses, when the children show you exactly who they are. That's the magic!

This session was all about having some fun on a beautiful fall afternoon. I really wanted these love bugs to be in the moment and do what kids do best- play!

We also got some posed shots in, because they are a gorgeous family, after all!

The Naish family is just about as delightful as a family can be! I loved spending a gorgeous fall morning with them at the Grist Mill in Sudbury.

Caroline in the city- this has been an idea tapping me on the shoulder for a while now. I love the juxtaposition between grace and grit. Caroline and I imagined a story where it was her first time as a dancer in the city, so I told her to explore and make the place her stage. She delivered!

We shot this at MIT. There’s so much architectural diversity and endless patterns, and I love an architectural pattern. It seemed like the perfect backdrop for this concept.

I have had the honor of watching Caroline’s dance journey, and this was such a special session.

Happy New Year! I’ve been quiet over here on social, but I’ve still been busy working hard and learning. Over the summer, I dove into learning portrait photography. Shoots are so much fun! I have much to learn and improve with my skill still, but I absolutely loved this shoot with the ethereal beauty, Maggie.
