Always fun to see a client post my work. Amazing veterinarians and wonderful staff for anyone in the Ann Arbor area looking for a vet!

Each spring the Rose-breasted Grosbeaks (pictured here) and the Baltimore Orioles appear in our yard together on the same day. They winter as far as Central America; extremely impressive journey! But for now they are making nests and raising their young in our backyard. So lucky to be a part of their expedition!!

Yesterday evening did not disappoint - sometimes it sounds like a jungle of birds in my backyard! This sweet White-breasted Nuthatch came in for sunflower seeds as evening was fast approaching.

Finally! I photographed a Wood Duck with an image worth sharing!! They nest in our yard, but are very elusive and I tend to be loud 🙄 But had the perfect opportunity this morning. I also learned these beautiful birds were hunted to near extinction - but thanks to conservation efforts their numbers have grown over a million!
