Phoenix Photography A mix of astrophotography, wildlife photography, and landscape photography in the South! Hi everyone! What is my goal in this photography page and my hobby?

My name is Tori and I run the Phoenix Photography page here on Facebook. I also have a TikTok and Instagram account under the same usernames if you'd like to check it out! All throughout high school, I had always wanted to really dive into photography but didn't do so until November 2021 when I bought my first Canon camera. Since then, I've been buying gear left and right for my cameras - each new

piece allowing me to do more and more. In March 2022, I purchased a star tracker (Sky Watcher Star Adventurer), which allowed me to take long exposure pictures of the stars without star trails. From there, I picked up more lenses (Canon 75-300mm, Rokinon 135mm and 14mm, Yongnuo 50mm, and a Sigma 150-600mm). Most recently, I purchased an Ha modified Canon T7, which allows me to pick up more hydrogen alpha wavelengths when capturing nebulas. I always had a push from friends to start a page to share my photography. I started this page in July of 2022 as a way for me to share all my photography to everyone in the area and REALLY started to dive into astrophotography. Probably about 98% of the photos you'll see on my pages/accounts are taken in Bremen, with ~99% of the astrophotography taken in town. When I'm not doing astrophotography, I'm finding a way to use my camera to do wildlife photography, nature photography, or pet photography. My goal is to grow my pages, my experience in all parts of photography, and show everyone in the area what there is to capture if you just look for it. While I do work full-time, photography is a nice hobby that I always try to make time for when I am free. I hope to eventually gain connections and do more photography in town. How I feel after a day trip to the Smokies 😴

- 5:30AM leave time
- 10AM arrive time
- At Cades Cove until 1:30. Saw VERY little wild life and decided to cut the Cades Cove portion short and take the scenic route to Cherokee
- VERY windy at the overlooks. The NPS closed 441 at 6PM due to winds and weather 😅
- Captured good photos of elk sleeping away in the fields at Oconaluftee Visitor Center in Cherokee, NC
- Back in Bremen by 8:30 🙂
