The processional gets all the attention, and the walk down the aisle is important. But the recessional is one of my favorites moments during a wedding day. The pressure is off. The joy is overflowing. The marriage is officially. And I just love the expressions that creates!

Vintage Truck Minis are BACK! I’m bringing back one of my most popular setups for this year’s mini sessions on Oct. 18 in Flushing, MI.

Ok, I have to talk about THAT member of the bridal party.

You know who you are.

- The one who helps me hang up the dress
- The one who holds the door open for me while my hands are full of cameras and lights
-The one who grabs a a bottle of water without even asking, because it’s 80 degrees out
- The bridesmaid who helps get the dress just right and tosses the veil in the air for me
- And so many more small acts of kindness that go a long way on wedding days

I’m blessed to meet so many great people on wedding days, but I don’t say it often enough: Thank you to all the friends and family who do those small acts of kindness.
