My favorite people in the whole world 💜 shared on my stories but I figured I’d just give them a permanent home on my feed.

I’m currently reading a book that discusses the importance of modeling learning in your household for your kids to see. The author talks about how learning doesn’t stop just because you finish school, and how there is so much value in your children watching you try something new as an adult! Taking these self portraits was just that 😂 I’ve never put my camera on a tripod before - I’m sure many other photographers do this on the reg and it’s an average skill they have. But it was fun to do something different and my kids got to see me struggle with trying to succeed at something new! They aren’t perfect but it’s a good first try and I loved sharing in it with my family 🙂

For the record - my kids did not make these pictures easy at all, but I’m still looking at them and thinking about how these two are the very reason I breathe 😆 Motherhood in a nutshell, right? 🙃
