I have come a long way since then, but I always knew what I was trying to capture with a lens.
Connection, emotion, passion, and a realness that feels like you can reach out and touch it.

While, yes, so much of it has to do with who is behind the camera, a lot of it has to do with who is in front of the lens!
I can promise you I will give you all the direction, perfect the small things, and make sure you are comfortable and confident during the shoot - but you have to bring that energy and openness.

Big hearts. Open minds. That’s how I want to meet people at my sessions.❤️‍🔥

I have spent a LOT of my life—and a lot of my career—being focused on what people think of me and what they think of my work.

I’m done worrying about every little thing I post, the algorithm, if it’s trending, or how people will perceive me or my art.

This is me, ya’ll. This is little bits and pieces of my life and all of my creative ideas mashed together chaotically, because, well… that’s me.

I am a bit of a paradox. 🫢
My taste changes. My hobbies change. My interests are all over the place. And my work is certainly a reflection of me.

My art is ever-changing because I am. There will always be something new, something weird, something beautiful, something I’ve never tried before.

I don’t want to create the same thing over and over just because I know people will like it. I want to create what excites me, what I feel passionate about, and what I believe is worth experiencing.

So anyway… you’ll probably be seeing a little more of my chaos on here now, because, why not.❤️‍🔥

The Outer Banks has always held a special place in my heart. Getting to frequent where I spent my childhood summer days, doing what I love, is such a gift.💛

You can’t beat a wedding in the OBX, couples photos on the dunes, or family photos on the beach in a small town full of so many treasures. Hands down my favorite place to be.
