These meat chickens are getting huge!

Hard to believe they're only about 2½ weeks away from harvest.

One of the kids wanted to show off his favorite chicken tonight, and I think the size difference says it all. 😂

These birds are raised on pasture and moved to fresh grass every day. We'll have more information on available chicken cuts coming soon. 🐔

Last night was a rare one around here ❤️

No sports. No school events. No rushing around. Just the kids outside running through the hose, climbing fences, checking on animals, and enjoying the cooler weather as the sun went down.

We brought the cows some fresh carrot tops from the garden, and they were pretty convinced they needed every single one 😂🐄

Honestly, nights like this are a big part of why we love doing this ❤️

Wow! Bacon is definitely our #1 seller! We’re almost sold out of it — this is all we have left.

Thank you so much to everyone who has purchased from our small family farm! ❤️

Our last full pack of long bacon strips sold today and right now we’ve got about 5 lbs left between smaller sliced packs and bacon chunks/scraps.

And chunks are definitely underrated! They’re awesome for beans, potatoes, soups, breakfast casseroles, seasoning vegetables, or homemade bacon bits. You should definitely try them if you haven't yet!

Once this batch of bacon is gone, that’s it until the next round.

We’ve also still got chops, Italian sausage, bratwurst, ribs, and more available too.

These are our meat birds, and in about 9–11 weeks they’ll be feeding local families.

Around here, the kids are part of it too—checking water, helping out, and learning where food really comes from.
