The colors at Yellowstone National Park's thermal pools are simply mind-blowing! I hope that this wasn't one of the parts destroyed by the recent explosion - it would be a shame!

I knew this waterfall was here. I just couldn't get to it and it drove me absolutely nuts. I didn't even know what it looked like but I could hear it and see the mist coming off of it. I couldn't find a safe way down to it - which is saying something! Wyatt and a CanAm SXS rental from Outpost Outdoors helped me finally reach it! Rainbow Falls near Pickwick Lake is such a stunning beauty! Especially since it is west of the fall line in Tennessee! Good things come to those who wait!

So, it has been quite some time since I've posted anything new since tearing my ACL. It's been a rough journey, and this was my first major hike since the injury. While everyone has been out chasing Yosemite's waterfalls, we were over in Italy for the opening of Serio Falls! This has to be one of my all-time best experiences in life and I got to do it with my family! They open the floodgates a few times per year and the water pours over the 900+ foot waterfall! I had a great time out on Glenn Springs Lake with my pops and brother. I was fishing with my lens while they were catching fish. My brother spotted this beautiful heron and I captured it with my Nikon Z 9, Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6 VR, Lexar CFx, and on a Gitzo monopod. A snowstorm blocked us from getting to the waterfalls, but I was able to get this shot while we were there. Madison Creek Falls, located in Olympic National Park, is one of the most stunning waterfalls that I have seen in a while. Here's one of many angles I shot of it.
