Twelve local Girl Scouts + lots of personality + one of my favorite specialty sessions — the OH! Shoot Box Session. 💙

One of the things I love most about Box Sessions is that they can be completely customized. Each person gets their own little space to show off their personality, and then all of the individual images come together to create one really special piece of art.

Throwing it back today! 📸

I was looking through some senior sessions from years past and couldn’t resist sharing a few favorites.

Different seniors. Different personalities. Different locations. And that has always been one of my favorite things about photographing seniors…your senior pictures should actually feel like YOU.

Whether that means your sport, your truck, an amazing dress, downtown Richmond, the outdoors… or jumping off a wall because why not. 😂

Brand photography isn’t always posed. Sometimes it happens right in the middle of the action. 🎶📸

Tonight I was back at the Perkinson Center capturing another live performance — and this is one of my favorite kinds of storytelling.

The energy.
The details.
The personality.
The moments you can’t recreate once the curtain closes.

For musicians, performers, venues and businesses, strong imagery gives you more than a record of what happened — it gives you content that can continue telling your story long after the event is over.

That’s exactly what I’m looking for when I photograph a performance: images that make someone who wasn’t there feel like they were.

I have some exciting news! I’ve been selected to create tester images for Kate Backdrop, and this gorgeous fall backdrop is on its way to my studio!

That means I need a few adorable little faces to help me bring it to life. ❤️

I’m opening just 6 Fall Backdrop Tester spots for children who would like to participate in the images and video I’ll be creating for the project.

And because you’re helping me with something special, I’m offering participants a tester-only fall portrait package for just $79, including 3 professionally edited digital images.

These sessions will only be available for a very short time because I have a deadline to complete and submit the project.
