I'M LITERALLY GONNA BE SICK.
Many of you know, when I started my business, I had very low expectations. I didn't really know what to expect, and to be honest, I knew I was going to be immersing myself within a field where I felt imposter syndrome at its finest, I was terrified, but dove in anyway.
Over the years, I have built, from the GROUND UP a business that I am proud of. I have literally invested so much of my own heart into Rachel Collins Photography, LLC. I have overcome hurdles that I thought would crush my business, I have overcome insecurity and feelings thinking I "didn't belong in this industry" and I sure haven't always gotten everything right, but I take accountability, and I move forward with lessons and applications going forward.

Today I got an email, that I made the TOP 5 for BEST OF THE BEST for our community. WHAT. This is that part where I think I'm going to be sick. It is no secret we have an abundance of talent in our area, so to be nominated to the TOP 5, is overwhelming. I have worked SO FREAKING HARD and in this small moment, I find some reassurance of like, "Wow, I made it".
WITH THAT. I will never promote myself in a way that is begging or bribing for a vote to win, or to even place in the TOP 3 (there is ANOTHER voting round y'all), so LET ME BE CLEAR, I don't want your support or your vote because you like me, or you know me, or your my friend, etc. I want you to vote because YOU feel THAT I EARNED IT.
๐๐ป Voting for the next round, (Top 3) will begin July 31st I believe. And I will post more details then. BUT IN THE MEANTIME, I just want to celebrate this little win, this encouragement that somehow, I appear to be doing SOMETHING RIGHT.
