Alright! The last set of photos from a most handsome man's legacy session at home, and what better way to end the series than with a mouth full of cake from Two Dogs and A Baker!

Axel absolutely loved this special treat and his Momma actually is a frequent customer of our favorite baker. Alisha even sent some cupcakes to share with his brothers (and sister but she politely declined). Axel ate up every single crumb and licked the plate clean as well and it made my heart so happy to see him still enjoying something as simple as a special treat.

It makes me even happier to know Axel is still with his parents to this day, taking it day by day.

Oh my goodness, it took me months but I am finally almost caught up on posting all my recent sessions.

My last one was Axel, the sweetest mastiff ever and a couple of his siblings. This was my second in home legacy session I have done and it was a tear jerker for sure. His pawrents loved him so so much as did his brothers and sister.

We spent time in the families sun room for the most part as the wind was absolutely howling outside and he just wanted to lay in the sun with his Momma. And it was just an overall wonderful time getting to hear stories of his life.

Oh my gosh! Happy Easter you lovely souls, I almost forgot to post sweet lil Olive! The other half of Two Dogs and A Baker 🥰

What a ball of energy she was for their family session too. Running absolutely everywhere with THE BIGGEST smile on her face as she charged through the water over and over.

Playing with big sticks in the leaves with her momma, and just being an absolutely goofball! So much fun but also challenged me in just the right ways when it comes to photographing a young pupper who says; you know what, I think I don't wanna sit still or cooperate with your plans for me.

For that, thank you Olive! Can't grow without the challenges :)

This set was not technically a Legacy Session. This was actually a cute little mini to do family photos for our amazing baker; Two Dogs and A Baker.

However, Mr Wilbur sadly passed not long after the session so I am so glad I got to take these special photos of him during their family photos.

Anyone who knows me, knows I love me a little cattledog mix and my gods....this little dude was no exception. Even if he wasn't as big of a fan of me as I was of him.

I will be posting his sister Olive tomorrow!

As always, I enjoy adding the animal human bond in my posting series from a session. This time we will end with it.

I love this collection of images, there is such a warmth and tenderness which perfectly sums up their relationship. Hank was cleared of any cancer diagnosis the next day and we hope gets to live many more years with his Momma going on all the adventures.

After Tesla came Hank the golden.

I got into a car accident a day or so before and wasn't sure if I would even be able to do his session. But luckily my sister let me borrow her car and I was able to meet this handsome man and his Momma at Watson Lake for a beautiful evening photoshoot. The last few photos of Tesla for you lovely souls; and we are gonna end on cake!

I am so beyond grateful for the partnership I have gotten to have with Two Dogs and A Baker . Every legacy session cake she has made for me is a hit with the pups. Tesla in particular was very fond of the banana chips as she picked them off one by one first!

With that, I also want to end on connection. Her pawrents love her so much and doing paws in hands is such a must have image every session. I like to think these last 2 images show just how small she is and how absolutely perfect 🥰
