As an in-home newborn photographer with a lifestyle approach in Chicago, I love catching the little gentle ways love shows up in your newborn session.
The way mom looks at baby like they’re finally here, the way dad counts every tiny toe (my husband did this with our babies too!), the little-big siblings coming in cautiously then squeezes them a little too tightly, and of course the curious licks from your (often first) fur baby just trying to join in on the moment. 🐾
Not perfectly swaddled, not entirely posed, just gently guided with a little wiggle room to feel relaxed, calm and connected to your newest family member.
The sweetest part of being a lifestyle newborn photographer is that we get to preserve not only what your baby looked like, but how deeply they were loved from the very beginning. 🥰
