Should we get engagement photos?! YES, thank you for asking!
As a couple as yourselves this question, when did you both get photos last? Hear me out; sometimes engagement photos are a couple's first photoshoot together! Second, if you are hiring a photographer you have never worked with before, then you haven't ever taken photos together with your photographer for SURE. Third, can you take too many photos together? The answer is always no, haha!
On a serious note, engagement photos allow you to see how your wedding photographer works doing what they love! Taking engagement photos with them also allows you to get comfortable with them, which is essential because they will spend the wedding day with you!
Most importantly, it's a fun way to spend time together and get comfortable behind the camera. Especially if you haven't ever taken pictures together, schedule an engagement session with your photographer! Consider it a date night. You can take pictures, go on a date, NOT wedding plan , and just have fun!
