She chose to wear her wedding veil again… and the reason touched my heart. ❤️

She wore this veil on her wedding day.

Years later, she brought it with her to her maternity photoshoot.

When I asked why, she smiled and said:

“This is where our family’s story began.”

Once, she wore it to say to the love of her life,

“Yes, I choose you.”

Now she wore it again…

As she waited to meet the little one who became the beautiful continuation of that choice.

I think there’s something incredibly special about one simple item connecting two of the most important chapters in a woman’s life:

The day she became a wife…

And the day she prepared to become a mother.

Years from now, their child will look at these photographs and know that

the same veil Mom wore when she married Dad was there while they were waiting for me.

To me, it’s details like these that transform beautiful photos into a family legacy.

The saddest messages I receive usually sound like this:

“We rescheduled our maternity photoshoot a few times… and then our baby decided to arrive early. We never got the chance.”

Every time I read a message like that, it breaks my heart.

Not because the photoshoot didn’t happen.

But because I know there won’t be another chance to capture this chapter.

Pregnancy feels long.

It feels like there’s still plenty of time.
Like you can always move your session to next week…
and then the week after that.

But babies don’t always wait until their due date.

That’s why I always recommend scheduling your maternity session between 28 and 32 weeks. If plans change or you’re not feeling your best, you’ll still have time to reschedule.

My biggest wish is that, years from now, every mom can show these photos to her child and say:

“Look… you were still growing beneath my heart, and we already loved you more than words could ever say.” ❤️
