I hadn’t been out in months, so I decided to stop by Kingston Mines. Kingston Mines has served as a staple for live blues for over 55 years. That evening, Vino Louden was playing the main stage!

“International Jazz Day is the world’s largest celebration of jazz. As the Global Host City, Chicago’s celebration focused on honoring its historic role in jazz evolution, promoting unity through music and educating the community.”

Here are a few images from Tuesday evening. The Chicago West Community Music Center (CWCMC) Orchestra accompanied all the performers and they did an excellent job! Dig this, the majority of the musicians are students! Special Guest, World Renowned Jazz Singer, Tammy McCann, Mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson was there and our Lieutenant Governor, Juliana Stratton was also there.

It’s International Jazz Day Celebration week and Chicago is hosting this year! ✨✨✨

We were delighted with beautiful performances by The Chicago West Community Music Center (Community Orchestra) with Special Guest World-Renowned Jazz Singer, Tammy McCann.

Events were held across Chicagoland and some suburbs.
