While living in Chicago one of the biggest things I became aware of and would constantly have on my mind was the constant fear a lot of women feel while using public transportation, especially in major cities. Hearing stories from close friends of mine and their experiences on public transportation would make me furious thinking of the fact that even something as simple as getting to work or school becomes a mission for a lot of woman of survival. Without the worry of being harassed or approached by strange men who thought they could just do whatever they wanted. Friends would tell me how they would carry a hoodie even in the middle of summer just to wear and make themselves appear less feminine while on the train. Hiding their hair or anything about them that may make it known that they are a woman/ woman-identifying individual.

TW// Domestic abuse within a relationship is very real, just as sexual abuse is. And while it is not talked about as much, it should be. Often, a man thinks that just because he is within a relationship, he is able to have sexual encounters/ experiences with their partner regardless of consent. Being in a relationship is not the consent. A woman has every right to say no and to leave when she wants. She is not your possession. This often leads to a woman feeling like they are in a trapped within the relationship and with nowhere to go. Remember that if you are in a situation like this and feel you have no one to help you out of its that there's always help.

The first image from my series, WOMAN, which is intended to tackle the issues woman face on a daily basis. It is based off the responses woman gave to a post on my story. To raise awareness and further educate men of the issues they are often not made aware of. They follow the stories of three woman revolving around three themes: Society's "ideal" woman", sexual harassment, and sexual abuse within a romantic relationship.

I’ll be presenting a teaser of an upcoming project titled “WOMAN”
Which follows the stories of three woman facing different groups of issues woman face on a daily basis in their lives. It is meant to raise awareness to to the lack of information delivered to men in our educational systems as to what it takes to be a woman in today’s society.
A huge thanks to all the amazing powerful woman who spoke up on my story and brought forward their stories to help start this project.

Happy Mother’s Day to literally one of the most important people in my life. You’ve been there for it all from birth to this very moment.
There’s no other person I’d be more proud to call my mother. You are living proof to me I can achieve anything I want and you motivate me to get where I need to be.
You’re so unbelievably hardworking and caring for others. But you’ve also taught me one of the most valuable lessons in life.
To not give a care in the world to what anyone thinks. No one’s opinion matters other than my own when it comes to who I am and it’s thanks to you I’m able to be the man I am today.
To know how to treat a woman, humans in general. And to care.

While we may butt heads all the time I know it’s out of love. I can’t wait for the day I truly make you proud. Thank you for always supporting and believing in me.
Shoutout to all the badass moms out there as well as any parental figures who deserve this day as well ❤️

Dope recording session with some amazing people.

Met this little guy at an antique shop within the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. He protected the mountain shop and would sleep on top of vintage type writers and records.

Photography has been such a beautiful vessel for me and continues to be as I embark on my creative journey challenging the different concepts that are important to me such as mental health. This image serves as just showing the raw emotions I feel being someone who suffers from depression and anxiety. It’s what I felt through the times I thought of taking my life. Or that I felt my life was meaningless. But through my amazing beautiful friends that have shown unconditional love and through art I’ve been saved. And want to do the same for others. This was the first AM Gallery and for those of you that have been asking… don’t worry. There’s more coming. Stay tuned.
