Whitney + Sam kicking off my 2026 engagement sessions has me SO excited for this year and all the amazing couples I get to work with!!

Having clients here in IL + now more & more into Wisconsin is really so special to me. Also getting out to the countryside is such a treat!! Even better when we get to explore your wedding venue ahead of the big day! This property was so peaceful and honestly such a photographer’s playground- so many beautiful little spots and scenery everywhere you turn. I loved it!!

A sweet reminder to always wait around for the sunset… even when you are greeted with an overcast sky just minutes before 🥹

I just adore these two so much!! We were graced with the prettiest short n sweet window of glowing orange light at the very end of their engagement session & it truly felt like the PERFECT exhale. It was meant to be!!

I can’t believe I waited so long to share these but I just had to dedicate a post to 🥹 Seeing the doors open for and knowing the labor of love that analog photo booths truly are- Chicago has been, and especially now is, so lucky to experience the dedication Anthony & Andrea have poured into their studio and every single project. Keeping analog photo booths and tangible photography alive!!!

Rachel & Jakob are engaged!!!!! 🥹 Part 1
I spent this entire day with my heart genuinely full to the brim, photographing their closest people as they rounded the corner to surprise her right after the proposal. So much joy, so much love, and so many emotions wrapped into one sweet day. These two are surrounded by the best kind of people, and it was truly an honor to witness it all unfold!! Even with the pre-proposal jitters that never quite go away (lol) photographing proposals will always be just as exciting every single time!!

The floral + reception details for Soph & Jack’s wedding are STILL taking my breath away - I had to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of their reception space before guests made their way upstairs from cocktail hour ♥ Ester also did Sophie’s parents’ wedding florals over 30 years ago- how full circle and sweet is this!! She is not on social media, but I had to spotlight the magic she created for their wedding!!

The wedding industry has opened my eyes to the absolute heart and dedication that vendors bring to every element, and floristry is definitely one of the most striking. As someone who has a deep appreciation for aesthetics and visual experiences, I’m in awe of the skill and artistry that florists bring to creating unforgettable environments for our clients 🥹

Because it really is alllll in the details ♡

One of my favorite details from last year’s wedding season was Sophie using fabric lovingly preserved from her mom’s wedding dress to create a custom clutch for her own day. Such a small detail, but so incredibly meaningful!! Their wedding was filled with these thoughtful personal touches and you could truly feel it all day long, not just between Sophie and Jack, but in the way their loved ones experienced it too!!

There is something so sweet about September weddings- the anticipation of autumn in the air, while still holding onto that last bit of summer 🥹

After such a long time coming for these two, there was a true sense of relief and joy just being on their wedding day!! By the time the reception started it truly sank in that this moment was finally here 🤍 So special, and such an honor to capture their entire day. With love!!

Reflecting on how beautiful and transformative 2025 was for me & the people closest to my heart, I knew my first post of the year had to be in honor of my niece’s arrival and the journey my sister and brother in law have walked with so much resilience. Through it all, they never lost belief that our sweet Hallie was always part of the plan 🤍

Loving someone who has experienced pregnancy loss has taught me so much about tenderness, faith, and unwavering compassion. Watching my sister continue to believe when life felt deeply unkind to the heart has changed me in ways I’ll always carry 🫂

Hallie Ann is our true rainbow baby, and this year has been nothing short of magic. Every moment feels sacred, and none of it is taken for granted!!

Sending extra love to every mom who has experienced loss in any form 🤍 My heart is with you all

Proof that the most meaningful details aren’t always planned- they’re lived. The flowers, the dress, the venue are all so incredibly beautiful and integral to the heart of a wedding day, but it’s the people you choose to include who make it truly unforgettable!!! What a special way to honor the women who made Sophie & Jack’s love story possible. 💐💌
