The love I have for these two women 😩🤌🏻

Turns out the iron does get sharper the more you surround yourself with God fearing friends whose burdens for the lost and broken reflect your own. Another bonus: not only do we all speak German but we also have the same universal language of the Holy Spirit that’s fluent in everything from belly laughs to Kingdom tears. Thank you Lord for bringing us together in this season of life. One of the best blessings. AMEN.

Eva: My intimacy with the Lord grows ever deeper every time I witness you pray. I honestly pray to be as bold of a pray warrior as you are every day! The joy you have for mentoring young women is something so beautiful and such a gift to the ones you surround yourself with.

Maria: My spunky Schwester with so so much talent behind that camera!!! I’m in awe of the content you create- you push me to be a better creative each day and I am so grateful for it! And your voice 🥹 when you worship it invites me into deeper intimacy with the Lord. Danke danke danke 🥲 Chicago isn’t done with you yet. Thank GOODNESS.

Sometimes it hits 70 in Chicago and decide I have to dress up like Chessie from the Parent Trap and do a photoshoot, I can’t explain it 🤷‍♀️

I’m trying to get back in touch with myself after a few hard weeks and couldn’t think of a better way to remind myself of the God given joy that lives within me than to capture it in real time.

I’m going to be honest, these past few weeks have been some of the toughest mentally to get through. After my Dad’s cancer diagnosis, I felt normalcy slipping away and the need to escape taking over my mind. It’s only fitting I’m posting these on the Feast of St. Dymphna, the patron Saint of Mental Illness. She is someone I can relate to and pray to during these next tough weeks ahead but I especially lean on the love of the Father and Jesus, my first love. I truly wouldn’t be here if it weren’t by the grace of God who has brought me through some of the deepest depths of despair.

WHEW this post took a turn but truly, there’s nothing that compares to having a supportive family, community, church and doctors to help me through life. Feeling truly blessed and hopeful, one picture at a time 🤍

Now that the cat is out of the bag…. Let me tell you how overjoyed I am to share these engagement photos of my sweet friends & !!!

I’ve seen Matthew & Claire’s relationship bloom first hand over the years and was honored when Matthew reached out for my help to capture the special day. And of course in classic Claire style, she was dressed and ready to say yes without much help from Matthew 😂

I couldn’t be happier to be the first witness and to be able to share in their bliss- congrats you two- love ya!

To one of the best people in my life- you have truly helped me through it all. I love how easy going you are, how your faith has shaped your purpose, and your positive outlook on life. You’ve led me by example in so many ways you probably don’t know and I’m forever grateful for it.

Lent—>Holy Week—>Easter 🌱

Grateful for every high (sometimes literal), and every low Jesus brought me through in this season and now we get to rejoice!!!

Thank you God for showing us what real sacrifice is- forever indebted to The Man who brings life and life abundant in every season, but especially this Easter Season.

What a night!

Extremely grateful and inspired to help steward the Kingdom of God in a community that shows up and shows OUT! The best part (aside from people raising insane amounts of money for our church and school) was hearing the stories of how Saint a Clement has helped shape the lives of countless people formed their faith over the years. What a celebration!!! Can also confirm I didn’t leave an ounce of effort on that dance floor either 😂
