I cannot explain what it feels like to wake up on the other side of life, in a world where you have to feel your way through the dark, surrounded by shadows and cold, where hope and meaning almost no longer exist. And yet, in these moments, strangely enough, I find salvation in my work and in the people who come to my photoshoots, often unaware of the gift they bring me. Through their stories, I briefly emerge from the darkness, feel a spark of warmth, a flicker of joy, and remember once again what it truly means to love this world.
