Fun fact Friday: Jess comes from a family of photographers and painters. In the early 1900’s, her great, great, great-grandfather, Eduard Blum and his sons, owned and operated Blum Photo Arts, a family-owned business that specialized in producing hand-colored photographs. The business was established in Berlin and eventually relocated to the Old Town neighborhood in Chicago. Here are some photos of the Blum family and examples of their portraits.

Tony and Marcia celebrated 50 years of marriage in 2018. Nick had the privilege of putting together this anniversary video for them during his time working at the American Academy of Art College, where Tony and Marcia also worked together for many years.

This is one of the projects that inspired our vision for Evermore. It is an example of a biographical interview and video compilation using scanned photos. The video highlights the story of two people and the beautiful life they created together. Tony passed away a year ago and this digital keepsake will be a cherished tribute that can be passed down in their family forever.

Tony and Marcia have been two important figures in our lives. We feel honored to have known them and be loved by them. Marcia, thank you for giving us permission to share this incredible story that you and Tony wrote together.
