There’s something about Chicago in the fall that never gets old.

The golden leaves, the crisp air, the city slowing down just enough to make you notice the little things.

The laughter between siblings.
Tiny hands reaching for mom and dad.
Three kids running ahead, then somehow finding their way back into a family hug.

Places like the Honeycomb have become favorites for a reason. Year after year, they quietly witness families growing, children getting taller, and another chapter becoming a memory.

Every season tells a different story.
Fall just happens to be one of my favorites. 🤍

There was a time when I thought growth meant titles.

Better jobs.

Bigger companies.

The next milestone.

I spent over a decade as a designer, helping brands tell their stories through visuals, strategy, and thoughtful design. It taught me how to see beauty with intention - but somewhere along the way, I realized the stories that moved me most weren’t happening in meeting rooms.

They were happening around kitchen tables.

On quiet Sunday mornings.

In the way a toddler reaches for their mom without thinking.

The way two people still look at each other after years together.

In the laughter of grandparents when everyone is finally home.

Photography has changed me far beyond my career.

It has taught me to slow down.

To notice.

To be present.

To believe that ordinary days are never really ordinary.

Some of the biggest growth in my life didn’t happen behind a camera.

It happened in friendships.

In marriage.

In motherhood.

In learning that vulnerability isn’t weakness.

And that love is something we choose, over and over again.

The more I photograph families, couples, and new beginnings, the more I realize what an incredible privilege this work is.

People invite me into some of the most meaningful chapters of their lives.

They trust me with moments they’ll never get back.

That trust is something I will never take for granted.
