37 days ago we welcomed our sweet little Colette Quinn into this world. 37 days of seeing God’s hand in every breath and learning what it truly means to love, trust, and hope in Him. Even in the ups and downs of this journey, we are in awe of the gift of her life—and the One who gives it.

This season has reminded us that we are not in control, but we serve the God who is. And we know we couldn’t walk through this without your prayers and encouragement.

So please — keep praying.
We are still believing for a miracle that defies all understanding.

Praises:
• Colette was born August 1, 2025, weighing 3lbs 8oz. Today she is at 4lbs 8oz. She is gaining weight well!
• She was thought to have seizure activity at birth which initially caused her to be transferred to Lurie’s. They did an EEG & MRI which showed no seizure activity and zero brain damage from the minutes of no oxygen during and after delivery.
• She is holding steady on a high-pressure nasal cannula after an unplanned extubation yesterday morning.
• She is showing strength and resilience each day.

Prayer Requests:
• That she continues to do well on nasal cannula and avoids reintubation.
• That her lungs grow stronger and her body continues to heal.
• That the next step—working on oral feeding—would go smoothly when she’s ready.
• That we have continued peace with God’s plan for Colette as she grows and develops.
• For wisdom for her care team and peace, strength, and rest for us as we navigate our toddler at home and our baby girl in the Nicu.
• That we would keep our eyes fixed on Jesus—not on the ups and downs.

There are so many unknowns ahead, but our most vital choice remains: to trust God. Even in the waiting. We still choose Him.
