Driving home last night I could not think of what to listen to and thought, man it’s been a minute since I listened to . I used to go see Dick play all the time back when he was living in Chicago. I put on some of his more recent albums and was blown away. He’s always been so talented but wow. I haven’t been able to stop listening to this album since last night (and this particular song.) What an absolute gem.

Anyway. Here’s some photos we did light years ago (if I had to guess 2008-2009ish?) I was still using Apple photo to do all of my editing back then and truly had no idea what I was doing hah. Love that my friends would humor me from time to time.

Just a lil sneak peek from last weekends session that left my bucket so full of joy and good energy! A most excellent session to wrap up portraits for this year. One more wedding but otherwise enjoying some much needed time with loved ones for the rest of the year.

Spent a much needed two-week break with my partner in South Korea. We ate too much, laughed too much, reunited with family. It was a lovely reset for both of us to just leave our lives in America behind. Not going to lie, we are having a rough time readjusting to life here, there’s so much Korea does better (but there’s also a lot of things America does better too.) We miss the food and the safety mostly. I’ve never felt the level of safety I felt exploring all over South Korea (even when we were right on the border of North Korea.)

Here’s a sampling of some photos I snapped with my new Ricoh GrIIIx, my new travel camera. It really got the job done and was so easy to travel with. I’ll never travel with my massive SLR ever again!
