A real life work of art ✨
I’ve always said that when I take photos of couples, I want these photos to be an art gallery. A composition of thoughtfully taken photographs that can be displayed as art.
Taking these engagement photos of Jesse and Austin have done just that. Not just because we were in the Art Institute, but because the way the interacted with each other and explored themselves and the space made my job so easy and seamless.
I cannot pick a favorite photos because they’re all perfect to me 🥹 Can’t to celebrate these two in September!

These two were all smiles all day during their lake front wedding in Chicago. Everyone who attended their wedding had nothing but beautiful and kind words to say about them. They radiate love and positivity. They build each other up and love each other endlessly and it filled me with such joy seeing them get married 🥹 it’s truly and honor and privilege to photograph weddings ✨

IT’S PRIDE MONTH BI***ES!!!

As a wedding photographer (and as a human being) I want to make it known that I make it a massive priority to support the LGBTQIA+ community. Not only does that mean I support my clients who I photograph, but also the vendors and people I work with.
This is the perfect time to give a HUGE shoutout - I did her headshots earlier this year and they are GORGEOUS. Not only that, Gabby is a dear friend BUT also an AMAZING wedding planner that focuses on q***r weddings. Because as frustrating as it is, just like a lot of industries, the wedding industry has a long way to go to make everything inclusive for everyone.
Also during this shoot, we featured a STUNNING set of florals from , a Q***r owned, Chicago florist. From weddings, to anniversary bouquets, Mertle & Dot’s flower power will be sure to blow you away!
It’s no secret that the LGBTQIA+ community is under major threat with everything going on in today’s political climate, specifically in the U.S. It is our job as allies to support the bigger message. Not just that “love is love” which is still true, but trans, marriage, and humanitarian rights are being stripped away from this community. We have to create safe spaces and stand proudly with our fellow Q***r friends (not just during June but all year round), support them, and let the world know we’re not going anywhere 💅🏻
