I grew up the kid who was OBSESSED with all of the Disney princess movies and just in love with the idea of “true love”, which has shown itself in SO many ways in my life. My first true love I found was my camera and photography. I picked up my dad's camera for the first time when I was 8 years old and decided at that moment that it was all I wanted to do. I could show people the way I saw the wor

ld and to little 8 year old me, that was the coolest thing EVER. It started off as capturing the things I loved, whether that was animals at the zoo, my friends, or siblings… I was ALWAYS shoving a camera in somebody's face. As I got older, that grew into capturing the love that other people put into the world. I started working with local photographers in my hometown around the time I was 14 to learn how to start working weddings and being able to document that step in somebody's love story. When I was 17, I knew this was it for me and it was time to start my own company and really seriously do this thing. Since then, I’ve been able to go full time in this incredible industry and make a living off capturing the love I see around me every single day, whether that love is a couple committing to spending their lives together, parents welcoming a child into their lives, the love between a family, or the love of someone seeing their favorite band on stage for the first time. The world is full of love and magical firsts, I’m so incredibly honored to be able to capture them to look back on forever. I’m available for booking through the greater Chicagoland area & throughout the country for all types of sessions + concerts!

I first met these two in November for a very snowy engagement session and immediately fell in love with the way they love each other. It's such a genuine and natural love, the kind of love where you can tell that every single thing they do is because they thought of the other person, the kind of love that rubs off on everybody around them and makes the world feel like a better place.

It was such an honor to get to spend their absolutely gorgeous wedding day celebrating alongside all of their family and friends.

💕 Katie & Kris 💕

Leaving their engagement session last fall, I immediately knew that I was gonna have such a good time with them on their wedding days, and oh man was I right.

Katie & Kris split their day up in a way that was a lil less traditional but absolutely perfect. The first weekend, we had the ceremony with immediate family and did all of our portraits, and then for weekend two, we had a very chill brunch reception where they really got to spend time with all of their guests and take it all in (and I got some of the best cinnamon roll french toast I've ever eaten. I'll be thinking about that for a while for sure haha)

Absolutely adore these two and both of their families. I really felt like I was just spending time with friends both days.
