Phew! That was a lot of uploads after a very long absence on my photography page. Apologies!
This year was filled with so many great things in all aspects of my life but I won't bore you with that kind of post. I am here to talk photography!
In 2018 and 2019 my goal was to shoot more with my SLR, to challenge myself, step out of my comfort zones, attempt to get more jobs (on top of my already full time and very crazy schedule) and to get a website up and running. I feel that my composition, posing, comfort level in manual, and post processing skills have really improved since I made that committment. I continue to take courses on Creative Live from the comfort of my pj's at home and in the past 2 years purchased an entry level telephoto lens to work on action shots, a lighting set with soft boxes, a frame for backdrops, backdrops, a speedlight and as of last week I upgraded my camera body from entry level to an intermediate level body. I am so passionate about learning more and hope that 2020 I find a place for mentorship as a permanent second shooter to learn more tricks of the trade, OFFICIALLY get my website up and running, and continue to grow with manipulating light and human subjects to truly capture happiness & moments of joy/love.
