I tell every senior to bring wardrobe options. Sometimes they don’t though, and the reality is, it isn’t an issue at all.

She brought one outfit and more than enough personality to make up for it. Some things you just can't plan for, and that's the fun part.

Pets aren't a distraction in a senior session. They're often the best part, because that's where the real smile shows up. If an animal is part of who you are right now, it belongs in these photos.

But a senior portrait should feel like the year you've been building toward, not a quick snap between classes. The light, the location, the way you actually want to be remembered from this chapter. That's a different thing entirely.

I wanted to show you around the studio because honestly… it's my happy place. When you arrive, your name is already on the board, there's water waiting for you, and yes, there are chocolates (save those for after your session though 😄).

It's bright, it's cozy, and there's plenty of room to create something really beautiful together.

A lot of people don't know this, but I actually run two photography brands out of this space, Tiny Dragon Photography for families, seniors, maternity and babies, and The Headshot Gal for headshots and business branding. Two very different worlds, but both so close to my heart. 🤍

Spins, smiles, and a whole lot of sparkle 💫

If I haven’t mentioned it, photographing dancers is one of my favorite things and we are in the heat of dance studio season. YAY!

It is always fun for me to watch them choose poses before they step in front of the camera. My dance-posing chart is always a hit.

This dance photoshoot from last year was pure magic from start to finish. Stay tuned for what this season will bring!
