Nestled in Christmas lights,
Dolled up in white feathers and pearls,
Emma recounted journeying across the ocean
To welcome her new cousin: Baby Alykhan. ☺

Rising joyfully from her nap, 18-month old Safina was ready to play!

Using simple words and gestures, she shared stories about black bear, gray elephant, and Murray the dog.

As we departed, she gifted us a box of toffees and hugged us goodbye, but secretly hoped we would just stay.
