Took a camera and my little 85mm f2 lens for fun on my walk with Fiona this afternoon. What a great time of the year for photos!

I spent about two hours early this morning wading out slowly into the lake to get close to these Pelicans without scaring them. My knees are all scuffed up from kneeling on rocks in the water to stay low, but it was worth it. Took over 1000 photos and here are a few quick edits.

It may look warm and sunny but it was 20 degrees and cold.
It was however clear skies and bright.

I normally photograph these views at night but I was headed past these spots to pick up something so I stopped by.

Chicago is a beautiful city!
