Ready to ?
Today, I'm throwing it allllll the way back to Spring of this year when we visited old loves (and one new one ) at their new home, out in Las Vegas ✈️🎲
Being commissioned to capture a pack at home while they live their lives is a dream come true. I am incredibly honored to be given the opportunity to be a fly on the wall and document what life was like today.
We got to spend the entire weekend with these 4 souls and their humans.
Being surrounded by four Old English Sheepdogs is nothing short of heaven 😇
They are sweet, gentle, playful balls of energy and quirks that I fell completely in love with!
I kept thinking "but, I only have ONE dog at home 😭😨"
Gosh, I hated to leave them.

I am a MESS!!!
I have been doing my biz bookkeeping for the last 4 days and just as I finished I realized it's MONDAY...I have lost all concept of time.
I'm not made for the books, guys.
I mean, I can do it, but I avoid it like the plague and then it really comes to get me in the end...when I have to do the whole entire year all at once 😳🫠
You would think I'd learn.
Seriously.
What will it take me??? 😶
So, if you want to make today, you can of course do that by showing me any photo of any kind of adorable creature you call family (or friend) & it sure will do the trick 😍
If you want to add in a comment about something you always put off that you shouldn't, that will also make me feel better and therefore just as much! 🤣

to when we used to shoot in stores.
This was in Bucktown at Kriser's Natural Pet
It was our Tour, where a portion of the session fees went to Chicago Canine Rescue.
We didn't even have sandbags, yet, I see 🤣
Time really does fly!
Goggles is at the rainbow bridge.
His mom still comes to see us with her love, Humby.
We're still doing our thing, but now every session is private (and we've upgraded our lights and backdrops quite a bit).
True Story:
I remember one particular Halloween at Krisers, Bucktown, where we had to pack up and go set up again in the South Loop 😳 We moved so fast and loaded out so quickly that the entire store full of patrons erupted in applause when we waved goodbye on our way out the door 🤣
Back then we did 2 events a day, both weekend days.
Crazy to think about!
I'm just so thankful that I still get to work with all your loves (and especially my one love) every day.
THANK YOU for supporting what we do - we can't do this crazy shiznit without you 🤗🤗🤗

and show me WHO got you through this last week!?
We live in NWI - the Derecho went right over our house 😳
We are good - the house is good - the Duke is good...even our feral kitty, Patches, came in the house for the storm.
Like so many others - we will miss our giant trees.
Besides that, a little damage to the house - that's it.
We are INCREDIBLY lucky, compared.
Our power was only off for 2 days - so many others are really suffering on their 6th day of trying to get through without it.

If there's one thing I'm glad we had, it's this munchkin - 100% the most solid soul the whole time 🥰

He was there to protect us,
He heard the things we didn't,
He slept with his back to us, facing the door,
He guided us in the dark,
He let us hug him whenever we wanted to, even though it was way too hot.
He never complained once that he didn't get to go for walkies.
And now, he's just looking forward to what's next and isn't worried about what is or isn't behind him - even though I know he misses those trees, too.
He's always my example 🥰

like this memory of our Carnival shoot 🥰

I have been deep in a basement project that just isn't photo-worthy - so I'm taking a trip down memory lane 😅

I haven't been sharing too much this summer because there is only so much time in the day and we're really trying to make an impact across several sectors of life - especially Fetch.

6 more weeks to affect all we can 💪

It's soup outside, so we haven't seen any puppies but our own.
..and, being a brachy, his outings have been minimal 😕

All the better to really dig into some admin projects...and pull up some memories of cooler days when summer started...ahhhhhh 🍃
