The palace gardens at Albi over the river Tarn; the gentle cows in Andorra, lowing and tinkling their bells; the mighty swifts of Toulouse, flashing chevron wings in between thin strips of sky; the narrow cobblestone streets of Cordes-sur-Ciel with the peeking Siamese cat and the reclining Persian. I mostly experience travel through food, but since I can’t shove an earthen bowl of cassoulet through Instagram, I will settle for showing you these photos I took of other things.

One of the numerous customization options with The Absolute Best Thing: shooting large-format film. A meticulous process that uses a century-old camera and enormous sheets of celluloid, only a few select event professionals use this extremely unforgiving process. However, the results are unlike anything else.

There’s an inherent spectacle in a French Quarter wedding - for Joette and D’Nasha, the carriage, the second line, the band, the police es**rt, all of it added up to a raucous celebration through the streets!

And as I look ahead, I’m excited for what’s to come. For 2026, I’m taking on ten more weddings and would be honored to celebrate right alongside you.

The Four Seasons Chicago - every event I work there is an exercise in perfection. I know the effort it takes to make events seem effortless, and having photographed events at the for fifteen years, I appreciate the beautiful lobby, the carefully-maintained suites, the elegant ballroom, and the always-attentive staff.

Plus, being so close to landmarks like the Art Institute made Jyothi and Karun’s wedding a delight to photograph. The cherry on top - planning by maestra Brianne Garritano at made this Four Seasons wedding extra sumptuous!

The day after Kaelan and Anthony’s dawn-to-midnight wedding at , we took a trip to a cenote - a depression in karst limestone that exposes part of the vast groundwater system underlying the Yucatan peninsula. Kaelan and Anthony are unusually spiritual people, and the connection to the life-giving waters of the Yucatan made for poignant portraits.
