Finally, we moved into the living room, where the main and final part of the shoot took place. My heroes danced, tossed confetti, decorated the cookies they had baked, and let themselves be playful, creating truly warm and unforgettable memories together, while I, as the author of this story, quietly captured it all through my lens 📸

If you want to create truly memorable family photos, start by asking yourself: what do we genuinely love doing together?

For Iryna and her daughters, their yearly tradition is baking cookies. That’s why, in our case, these weren’t just the usual staged “we’re baking, we’re playing with flour” photos. We were actually baking cookies and enjoying every moment of it.

No one had to pose — everyone was in their natural environment, relaxed and comfortable. And that’s the secret: the photos always turn out better and carry a special value because they’re real. They’re about you. 🤍

We divided this photoshoot into several locations within one apartment. I really wanted to capture not only the classic shots by the Christmas tree, but also the girls’ room — because it will never be the same as it is right now. Even a year from now, everything will be different, and the girls will be older.
That’s why we started here. I’m calling this part of the shoot “Chapter One” in a beautiful photo story of a truly warm family.
