Today I celebrate a full-circle moment: my first-ever print, acquired into a permanent collection back in 1981 during my senior year at Southern Illinois University, remains on display in the student center’s study area. That quiet corner has held my work for over four decades—and I’m deeply honored.

Now, another milestone arrives: my solo exhibition Visions is Us opens today at the Sharp Museum. To return to the university that launched me so many years ago is a dream come true.

Thank you to everyone who’s walked with me on this journey—your support, encouragement, and belief have meant everything.

If you’re nearby, I’d love to see you at my artist talk at 2 PM, followed by a reception until 6 PM. The exhibition runs through December 13th.
