September 10,2025. I, like most, remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I got the text. All it said was “Charlie was shot”. I immediately felt like I was punched in the gut. So many emotions and tears flooded in and everyone tried to stay calm and prayerful as things unfolded. I’ll never forget that day, I’ll never forget what was stolen from us and how it impacted the future forever, but most importantly I’ll never forget Charlie Kirk. The anchor that was holding the entire conservative movement together. The man of God, the father, the friend, the leader, and the one who was chosen to build a legacy that will impact the world for generations to come. We are still left picking up the pieces and trying to keep fighting for what Charlie died building. But we sure as hell will never give up. An entire year without Charlie and it still feels surreal. I still struggle with the whys of it all but I know that what the devil meant for harm, the Lord will turn for good. I’m still believing for that as hard as it is. Feels kind of ironic to be at the RNC midterms right now, but to be honest I think that’s exactly where Charlie would have been. Fighting to save our country. Fighting for truth. Charlie you are missed beyond words. To all my tpusa family, friends and dear Erika, I love you, I’m standing in this right beside you and lifting you up in prayer. This is a heavy, heavy day but God’s mercy remains. For Charlie 🤍
