Puerto Rico Through Dimitre’s Eye 👁️📷
Photography has been my profession for over 35 years, and travel photography is one of my favorite ways to experience a place. It slows me down, encourages me to look more carefully, and often leads to images I never expected to make.
I recently finished editing a collection of photographs from Rachel’s and my trip to Puerto Rico.
We started in San Juan, where my longtime friend Coco Lopez and his wife, Rebekah, welcomed us to the island with dinner and some wonderful local recommendations that helped shape our trip. Thanks again, Coco!
Puerto Rico surprised us. In many ways it reminded me of the Hawaiian Islands—the lush mountains, turquoise water, incredible beaches, and genuinely friendly people. Everywhere we went there was something worth photographing.
