Been photographing the Pilsen man for more than 6 years. Hopefully God stays looking out for him 📷♥️

“Pedro "Pepe" Toledo Catalan, a beloved, often homeless figure in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood known for his cheerful demeanor and love of music, was tragically killed in a shooting over Labor Day weekend in August/September 2025. He was an innocent bystander in the incident. Community members remembered him as a kind, gentle person.“
