In our everyday life, we see photographs everywhere. Magazines, books, blog posts, facebook, etc. are all filled with photographs or pictures (I use the word photograph or photo a lot because of what it means to me). To me it marks a memory, it freezes time and creates an everlasting impression of a moment. The moments of my life and what I see throughout my life, can be frozen in a photograph. It actually took me a lot of growing up before I actually embraced photography the way I do now. Bringing meaning to a photo is what I enjoy, whether it’s my own memories or memories for others.
