One year ago next Sunday, Amber and David said "I do" in the most beautiful celebration we are still reminiscing about.
Some weddings are beautiful. Some are joyful. And then there are weddings like theirs, where the love between everyone in the room is so genuine you can feel it in every moment.
Their celebration at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in Chicago was spectacular. The space itself is always stunning, but it was completely transformed by Craig Singer and his incredible team at Epic Events, creating an elegant setting with all black linens and drapery, and beautiful vibrant flowers, that set the tone for the entire evening. And as always, Alison Ross Events brought everything together seamlessly. Alison and her team brought a calm, thoughtful approach which allowed Amber, David, and her sweet parents, to be fully present and simply enjoy every moment.
Their first dance surrounded by sparklers felt quiet and magical, love the dip! The father daughter dance was incredibly moving, a reflection of the beautiful bond Amber shares with her parents.
And then there were the moments that made the day uniquely theirs. During the hora, guests waved photo cutouts of their two cute kitties, bringing so much energy and laughter to the dance floor. Later in the evening, David surprised Amber by singing to her. The entire room fell silent, and you could feel just how much that moment meant.
What we remember most is the joy. From beginning to end, they were surrounded by people who truly love them, and it showed throughout the entire day.
Happy 1st wedding anniversary, Amber and David. We hope this past year has been filled with laughter, adventure, and plenty of cozy nights at home with your two very lucky kitties.
