You just know it was a good one when your team texts you, “I’m so sorry for how many photos there are… there were just too many amazing moments” 🥲

And honestly… I couldn’t ask for anything more.

A day full of belly laughs, teary hugs, proud grandparents, champagne toasts, packed dance floors, and all the little moments in between that become the memories people hold onto for years.

Feeling so lucky to have a team that cares just as much about those moments as I do🤍 Here’s just a little glimpse into Grace & Brits special day.

It’s always such an honor when people who make a living telling stories trust you to tell theirs 😭

Anna and Cristiano actually met because of work. Anna was a television news reporter, and Cristiano was a professional hockey broadcaster. She called him for an interview, realized they shared the same 630 area code while both living in Savannah, and four days later they were on their first date🤍

Their wedding day was full of places that meant so much to them. They spent the morning getting ready in their childhood homes, got married at Anna’s hometown church, where she went to grade school, then celebrated at the Chicago Athletic Association in the very same room where her parents were married 30 years earlier.

As journalists, they wanted their wedding photos to really feel like them, and I don’t think there could have been a more perfect fit. So many real moments, happy tears, belly laughs, and the kinds of memories that only become more meaningful with time.

There’s something so special about having your session at home, where your kids can simply be kids. Running around the backyard after dinner, blowing bubbles, tossing the ball to the dog, showing you their favorite toys, and inviting you into the little spaces they love most.

Home is where you’re the most comfortable. It’s where your family spends the quiet, ordinary moments that end up meaning the most. The bedtime routines, the kitchen dance parties, the snuggles on the couch, the chalk drawings on the driveway. It’s where your memories are already being made every single day.

My hope is that these photos don’t just remind you of what everyone looked like at this time, but they remind you of what home felt like 🥲

The Dorgans, my first wedding of the 2026 season ✨

The sweetest couple, magnetic energy, the ultimate hype crew, loving parents, handwritten letters, flowers galore, black and white details, cocktails, disco balls, endless smiles, and happy tears. Those are just a few of the things that come to mind when I think back on their day.

It was a wedding I was truly so excited for because I knew how naturally these two fit together, and their day felt exactly the same — effortless, joyful, emotional, and full of so much love. Every part of it felt organic in the best way possible, like everyone there could feel just how meant for each other they are.
