Elope to Chicago is a site offering packages for couples wanting to elope or have small weekday (Mon-Fri) weddings in the Chicago area.

Elope to Chicago is a site dedicated to helping couples in the Chicago area plan their elopements or intimate weekday weddings. ETC was started by local photographer Becky Brown (www.beckybrownphotography.com). It has grown from just photography services to complete packages including hair & makeup, flowers and an officiant. We have couples coming from all over Illinois as well as out of state to

get married! All packages are available for Monday- Friday weddings of 50 people or less (holidays excluded). Whether it's just photography you need or a combination of services we are here to help!

How is it already September?! We kicked off the month with Johnson and Jia at city hall. Highly recommend non Friday/Saturdays down there to beat the crowds. We barely had to wait 10 minutes before we saw the judge.
They decided to do their own private vows while we were out at Olive Park which was so lovely and peaceful. If this is any indication of how this month is going to be I can’t wait for the rest!

Allison and Robbie came up from Indy to say I do back in the city where he had proposed. Which of course meant that we wanted to return to the exact spot at Navy Pier where he got on one knee to make it a full circle moment. I love all the little details they included! Do you ever see or spend time with couples that just makes you go “yep”. They are laughing and smiling and just genuinely happy together. That’s Maddie and Mike. After their I do’s at city hall we strolled around enjoying the city views. Their happiness is contagious and I was thrilled to capture their day!

103 floors above Chicago Jennifer and Mark said I do last week after coming all the way from Australia! Mark is a lifelong Cubs fan and they decided since they were already doing a US trip that Chicago needed to be a stop to catch some games….. and get married!

Is it December yet?! But seriously the next week is going to be hot hot hot again and we’ve got several elopements lined up. I always bring our couples an Elope to Chicago tote bag (that they keep) with waters and Kleenex but it’s important to stay hydrated and not overdue it in this heat. Shade is your friend, especially in a suit and/or dress with many layers! Stay tuned for some steamy sessions!
And we’ve still got a lot of availability is October/November/December right now if you’re looking for a cooler month to say I do!

During this heatwave we were honored to be a part of Julie and Jake’s wedding day at the gorgeous Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool in Lincoln Park. I’ve never been so happy for 9am start in my life. Because by the time we wrapped up 2 hours later the “feels like temp” was 104! We did our best to stay in the shade and take water breaks, but you’d never know from how cool they look on the photos that it was one of the hottest days of the year! Congrats to the newlyweds! I love all the emotions in this photo. After a very long wait at city hall Friday (6/26/26 was indeed a very popular date) we got sent to the Daley Center. After some drama we finally made it in front of the judge and the second he was going to start the ceremony both Helen and Danny burst into tears! Happy tears, but we had to do a quick pause for some tissues before we proceeded. Congrats to the newlyweds!

My favorite thing about being an elopement photographer is hearing the stories from all my couples about how they met, how long they’ve been together, how they chose Chicago etc. Michele and Hugh’s story started over a decade ago and let them to say I Do with the gorgeous Chicago skyline. They are going to spend the summer traveling around to visit family all over and have several mini celebrations. It was such a delight to be part of their day!
