๐ช๏ธโ ๏ธ This is one of the most aggressive tornado outlooks Iโve seen from Nadocast in a very long time.
Northern Illinois is highlighted for a significant tornado threat this afternoon and evening, with the potential for long-tracked, intense tornadoes between approximately 4 PM and 10 PM. The environment is expected to support discrete supercells capable of producing strong to violent tornadoes, along with very large hail and destructive winds. Recent forecasts from SPC and other meteorological sources also indicate the possibility of strong to intense tornadoes across northern Illinois and eastern Iowa today. (Jacksonville Journal-Courier)
โ ๏ธ If you live anywhere across Northern Illinois, now is the time to review your tornado safety plan and make sure you have multiple ways to receive warnings.
