I get this question a lot, “Do you offer the digitals!”

And of course I do!

But don’t sleep on the album! This is what you’re really going to want.
Which is why it’s the most purchased item.

Digitals are great, but be honest, do you actually DO anything with them?

Some people call it analog, I call it a no-brainer.

I’m loud about posing direction, quiet about perfection. I’ll talk about my dog more than my camera gear.

I used to never show clients the back of my camera during a session.

I thought it kept things a surprise. Turns out, it just kept them guessing.

Now I show them along the way. We adjust if we need to. They trust the process more, not less.

Prop or no prop?

My answer is yes. With one condition.

Don’t bring something just because you saw it on Pinterest. That’s how you end up looking back at your senior photos in 20 years wondering why you’re holding a random weird thing.

But your favorite stuffie? The awards you actually earned? Bring those. I will fully encourage that every single time.

A prop that means something to you makes your photos feel like you. And isn’t that the whole point?

Senior photography icks I can’t get over.

“Act natural” is not posing direction.

“You’ll figure out outfits” is not prep.

A cookie-cutter location is not a photo session tailored to your kid.

And “here’s your gallery, let me know if you have questions” is not a client experience.

Your senior only gets one shot at this. The photographer you hire should act like it.
