Hi. My name is Cathy, I'm professional photographer. I have a passion for wedding photography and my biggest strength is capturing the love, connection, and joy between a couple in a natural and authentic way.
I'm influenced by the classic and romantic feel of '20s and '30s Hollywood film and photography and I combine that feeling with a modern photo journalistic style of shooting to give you beautiful images that will stand the test of time.
I believe in doing what I love ... and I love capturing wedding stories.
I see each wedding as a creative opportunity. Every element of the story is important, and how I capture those elements is just as important.

Some important questions to ask yourself are do you like their style of photography, do you like the types of moments and emotions that they are able to capture, and what is the general vibe and feel that you get from their work and from meeting with them in person?
Some other great questions to ask yourself are what it is about the photographer's work that speaks to you? Do you want a lot of posed shots or do you prefer images that look and feels more natural? Do you prefer a romantic vintage look or a more colorful and edgy contemporary look? Your images are how you will look back on your special day for the rest of your life so finding a wedding photographer whose style you love is paramount!
Many couples don't realize how much time they actually spent with their photographers on their wedding day. Even though my photo journalistic style has been described as unobtrusive I still spend many hours interacting with my clients to capture getting ready pictures, bride and groom pictures, pictures with the wedding party, family pictures, and reception coverage. It's safe to say that your photographer will be around you for most of your wedding day and that's why I feel that it's so important to go with a photographer you feel comfortable with!
