I am a nature and landscape artist who adores the remote wilderness areas of our western states, the open spaces and open gates of the BLM lands, as well as our National Parks and Monuments. Most of my recent work is centered in the desert southwest, Yosemite N.P., Death Valley, and the old-growth forests along the California north coast. I've found myself increasingly drawn to the grand vistas an
d intimate water imagery of the Pacific North West. My imagery varies from small scenes, like flower portraits, mud cracks, and flowing water to intimate landscapes, as well as occasionally shooting iconic grand visits like Tunnel View, in Yosemite N.P. Iām a staunch supporter of the Nature First and Leave No Trace principles.
