This fall, I’m doing things a little differently.

As my work continues to shift more intentionally toward fine art and story-driven imagery, I’m choosing to photograph fewer families and give more time, care, and creative energy to each session.

For Fall 2026, I’m opening just 10 full family sessions.

No mini sessions. No rushing. No trying to squeeze your family into a few perfect poses.

Just space to slow down, connect, move, laugh, and create photographs that feel like you-the kind of images meant to live on your walls and be passed down.

Sessions begin at $350.

For my longtime returning families, I’ll also be offering $50 off as a thank-you for trusting me with your memories over the years. 🤎

Once these 10 sessions are booked, my fall calendar will be closed.

A little shift. 🤎

For many years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing families, milestones, growing babies, and so many beautiful pieces of your lives. I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has trusted me with those memories.

But lately, I’ve felt myself being pulled in a different direction creatively.

I find myself slowing down more. Chasing light. Wandering back roads. Photographing mountains, fields, old barns, changing seasons, and the quiet beauty tucked throughout Northern California.

And I’ve realized that’s where my heart is right now. So Brie Farrara Photography is beginning a new chapter.

I’ll be stepping back from regularly booking family sessions and putting more of my creative energy into landscape and fine-art photography, visual storytelling, and creating photographs meant to be lived with-printed, framed, and passed down.

That doesn’t mean I’ll never photograph people again. I’ll still take on select sessions and projects that feel like the right fit. I’m simply giving myself permission to follow where my creativity is leading me.

Photography has never just been about taking pretty pictures for me. It’s about capturing a feeling-the kind of moment that makes you stop because you know it will never look exactly like this again.

Sometimes that moment is a family wrapped up in each other.

And sometimes, it’s the sun kissing the mountains.

Thank you for trusting me with your stories all these years-and for allowing mine to grow, too. 🤎
